Disposal of carbon
Carbon-fiber-reinforced plastics ("carbon") have to be disposed differently than regular plastics. This article provides tips and recommendations for the correct disposal of carbon.
Why should I recycle carbon?
Carbon waste is a valuable resource and has to be fed into the material cycle! New products can be made from waste without consuming new resources.
Where can I dispose carbon?
Carbon waste can be disposed at the local recycling center. Please follow the local guidelines of your waste disposal company concerning the disposal of carbon.
Defective carbon components from tune can be sent to us at your cost. We correctly dispose defective carbon components free of charge.
What must be considered during disposal?
- Separate different materials whenever possible. Separated materials are easier to recycle.
- Make sure your carbon waste is not contaminated or mixed with other waste.
